Search the community and support articles Windows Windows 10 Search Community member. I have a usb keyboard been working on my machine for 6 months. When I turn on my PC I can type my password in. When windows fully loads my keyboard will not work. This has only started to happen in the last day. I have run a virus scan and nothing. I have unstalled all keyboard devices and reinstalled Can anyone please help me solve this issue.

Does the same issue persists in Safe mode with Networking as well? Refer: Start your PC in safe mode in Windows 10 Follow the below steps to place the computer in normal mode. Type msconfig and press Enter.

In the System Configuration window, click on General tab. Select Start-up selection as Normal startup , click on Apply and Ok. Follow onscreen instructions. Step 2: I suggest you to rollback the keyboard drivers and check if it helps. Expand Keyboard , right click on the drivers and select Properties. Go to Driver tab, check if the Rollback driver option is enabled. If so, try to rollback the driver. Restart the computer and check with the status of this issue.
